Washington DC Special Event Medical Planning

Nevada

Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 450B.650-450B.700 and Clark County EMS Regulations Section 1150, certain organizations hosting certain special events in Clark County must provide emergency medical services under certain circumstances.

New Hampshire

 Mass Gathering Standard Operating Guideline Template.

This standard operating guideline published by the State of New Hampshire can be customized to meet the needs of other states during mass gathering emergency medical services resource planning. The template covers all areas that need to be addressed and includes a scoring matrix helpful to predict risk and coverage needs.

Pennsylvania

CHAPTER 1033. SPECIAL EVENT EMS

The entity responsible for the management and administration of a special event may submit a special event EMS plan to the Department, through the regional EMS council assigned responsibility for the region in which the special event is to occur, to secure a determination from the Department as to whether the plan is adequate to address the EMS needs presented by a special event or a series of special events conducted at the same location.

Texas

Requirements for Combative Sports Events

All emergency medical personnel and portable medical equipment must be located within the technical zone during the event.

Physician ringside seats must be in the neutral corner(s).

There must be a resuscitator, oxygen, stretcher, a certified ambulance, neck brace, defibrillator, backboard, portable suction, and an emergency medical technician on site for all contests.
